Since opening in 1993, Vantage Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation has remained a locally owned, family-centered practice dedicated to serving the communities of Central Pennsylvania. Founded by Walt and Joan Ronan, Vantage was built on the belief that patients deserve personalized care, honest communication, and therapists who are truly invested in their recovery. Today, their son Kyle Ronan continues that tradition, carrying the family’s commitment to quality care into the next generation.

At Vantage, our focus is helping patients return to the activities and quality of life that matter most to them. Our experienced team of Physical and Occupational Therapists provides individualized treatment for orthopedic, neurologic, sports, industrial, and geriatric conditions while maintaining close communication with patients and referring providers. By combining advanced training with a personal, hometown approach, Vantage continues to deliver compassionate, community-focused care that patients have trusted for more than 30 years.

2017 graduate of Saint Francis University. Experience treating neurological and orthopedic conditions in both inpatient rehabilitation and outpatient settings, with a focus on improving mobility, function, and overall quality of life.

2023 graduate of Saint Francis University with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Clinical experience in orthopedics, manual physical therapy, and vestibular rehabilitation.

2010 graduate of Westminster College with a Bachelor’s Degree and 2013 graduate of Duquesne University with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Matt is a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist with certifications in strength and conditioning as well.

Received a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy in 1980 and an Advanced Master’s degree in Orthopedic Physical Therapy in 1986 from the University of Pittsburgh. Walt also is a Board Certified Specialist in Electrophysiological Testing (EMG/NCV).

These plans include, but are not limited to: Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, UPMC, United Healthcare, and Tricare. We are also providers for many workers’ compensation panels.
